A look back at what happened on the farm last month.

Here’s a look back at what happened at the farm in June.

The month was a whirlwind of babies and hay 🐄 🚜 🐐 and not much else!

On the Farm

After a VERY dry and somewhat concerning spring, late May and June arrived with a lot of rain and we were finally able to get a cutting on our alfalfa field the first week of June.

Hay cutting went MUCH smoother with our new Enrossi Hay Rake (if you look hard, you can also see our cows in the back pasture)!

The Animals

Padme had our last baby goat (mini nubian) of the season on June 14th. Meet Eden (like the garden!)

Patty was our very first calf born on May 4, 2024 and she welcomed her very first calf on June 16th.

Mabel delivered our first bull calf of the season on June 21st – on father’s day!
