🐐 Baby Watch Update for Merci! 🐐

Merci is a real good momma and always checks in on these two cuties!

Exciting news — Merci just gave birth on 2.21.25! 🎉

Here are the sweet new additions to the Shalom Farms family:

Number of babies: 2 (1 male and 1 female)
Parents: Merci & Bucky

It was difficult getting photos with both of them together, so here's a quick gallery of some of our favorite shots!

Meet the little ones:

• Doris – 6.6 lb Female, “gopher” ears, all black

• Donald – 7.6 lb Male, “elf” ears, all black

💖 How they’re doing:

Momma and babies are doing well!

We are so grateful that Jeff was in the barn when Merci started pushing, so he was ready and available to help get the kids dried off as it was still dangerously cold on Friday when they were born.

They’re so new that we haven’t gotten a lot of time to interact much or see their little personalities shine through, but they will have more energy in the next few days (especially as it begins to warm up more and more).

Next up: All of our sheep mommas should be due in March!
