It’s been a busy week with 5 new baby goats, so today’s photos will (appropriately) include them!

We generally try to keep the mommas and their babies penned up in their own pen for 2-3 days before integrating with the rest of the goats - not only to help establish their bond together, but also giving the kids time to grow in size and strength so that they can quickly get away if needed.

Integrating Baby Goats

These Mini Mancha kids are 8-10lbs now, so they’ve got to make sure they can stay away if a “big goat” is having a bad day

…also, isn’t Walter HANDSOME!?? 🤩

Sweet Pea is one of our mini goat mommas and she’s been nice to the kiddos.

Cookie is also a mini momma, and although she’s a little annoyed that there’s more goats in the pen, she’s been being nice :)

Star and Crunch also gently sniffing out the new additions.

Doris and Donald sure do love these big rocks!

The triplets, on the other hand, absolutely LOVE the hay feeder trays 🙄😅
