Crawford, the Friendly Buck
On Cinco de Mayo 2025 - Crunch had a baby boy.
Now I’m not saying that I EVER pick favorites 🫣 but let’s just assume that Crawford was my favorite buckling of all time.
He had such a sweet and calm demeanor and never ever became prone to aggression or wanted to rub his horns on us like some of the other bucklings.
Plus, he was GORGEOUS 🤩
In this photo, we had recently been gifted this old playhouse from our neighbor (shoutout to Doug!) and put it in the buck pen for the boys to enjoy.
A few weeks later we measured the top to get a custom 90% shade tarp on so that the boys could have a break from the heat in the summer time and still get to enjoy being up top.
Crawford eventually went on to be sold to a nice family in Kansas so that he could be a herdsire for their does.
We bragged about how he was such a sweet guy and that’s exactly what they were looking for - so it was a match made in goat heaven.
Miss you Crawfy! You keep being a good boy ❤️
